Fluid type without drama
Clamp-based roles from 320 to 2560 — large enough on desktop, never shouty on mobile.
Fluid type only works when the scale is tied to roles, not one-off pixel picks. Headings, lead copy, and metadata each get a single clamp that tracks the Parameters collection from Figma.
The goal is continuity: a case study title on a phone should feel like the same voice as on a wide monitor, just scaled down. Avoiding abrupt breakpoints keeps page transitions and scroll-driven reveals from fighting the layout.
I treat line length as part of the role. Prose and lead measures are tokenized so blog posts, about copy, and project summaries share the same reading rhythm.
